I can books very fast and accurately. I can say I like books especially the ones with interesting topics.
When I read, I would use my wide imagination because it's better to understand. I can say that my penmanship isn't really good, but during my high school days I enjoy writing, may it be writing entries in my diary or writing poems. Though I enjoy it, I have a hard time in some aspects such as in defining words which are deep and new to me. Other times, there are some words that I can't pronounce correctly. Spelling some words is also my weakness. I really need to improve in my weak points in reading and writing. I think ENGLCOM could help me improve my weakness because I expect that we will have different activities like reading stories or articles with deep, interesting words that would ignite my curiosity, as a result I would look up their definition in a dictionary. I think our professor will also teach new words and how to pronounce them clearly. Reading poems or novels could also enhance my reading skills during class.

Reflection:
This is the first essay I wrote in our ENGLCOM class. Its about my strength in reading and writing. All I wrote in this essay is true. It is also about my weakness in reading and writing. I pin-point my weaknesses and hoping I would improve on it. This essay also tells my expectation in our ENGLCOM class.
